Pricing and postage explained

Design is usually quoted first with an estimated manufacturing price. Any design fee is agreed and paid before design starts. The firm manufacturing price is confirmed after design, before you approve and pay for production. Straightforward jobs may be quoted in full at the outset.

Discuss your job before posting an original. Packing instructions and the address are provided once arrangements are confirmed. You cover postage both ways, unless included separately in your quote. Sending an enquiry does not place an order or authorise paid work.

Before you enquire

A few useful answers.

Not sure about your part?
Start with the details.

Can you work from a broken part?

Often, yes. Send photos of what remains and where it fits. Matthew will discuss whether measurements or the original component are needed to establish the missing detail.

Is there a minimum order?

One-off parts and repeat orders are welcome. Design and manufacture are quoted for the work required. Making additional copies from an established design can reduce the cost per part.

How is the price worked out?

Design is usually quoted first with an estimated manufacturing price. Any design fee is agreed and paid before work starts. The final manufacturing price is confirmed after design, before you approve and pay for production.

Do I need to send the original?

Yes. Discuss the job with Matthew before posting it. Once arrangements are confirmed, you receive packing instructions and the address. You cover postage both ways, unless included separately in your quote.
